Grow Family Counseling is owned by Elizabeth Hover, a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. She is originally from Arizona, and relocated to Kansas while she and her husband were serving in the Army. She feels strongly that all people are resilient, adaptive, and can thrive with the right support. She takes a collaborative approach with her clients and combines different therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and play therapy. She is currently working toward Registered Play Therapist credentialing and takes clients of all ages.
Dan is an Army Veteran with a mission to provide quality therapy services to military service members, Veterans, and their families. He has more than 10 years of experience treating trauma, depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation using Cognitive based approaches as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Dan accepts most insurance policies, including Tricare, BCBS, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Kansas Medicaid (Kancare). He offers flexible hours and in-person and telehealth options. Offers therapy to teens and adults ages 13+.
